Dumji Sweater
Dumji is an annual Sherpa Festival held in the Khumbu area during the month of May or June. Along with serious rituals performed by the monks, the festival is celebrated with dance and drink to honour the anniversary of Guru Rinpoche's birth on the lotus flower. The shape of this sweater is inspired by the Sweaters worn on the first Everest expedition, using superfine merino and alpaca wool for the ultimate combination of soft comfort and technical moisture management. Merino wool is warm without added weight, and is naturally antimicrobial. This crew features a Nepalese-inspired design on the front and has ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.
