The Makalu is the perfect winter jacket thanks to its technical fabric and features. Made with a seam sealed 3-layer shell fabric, the Makalu is waterproof rated to 20,000mm thanks to the Himaltec¨ coating meaning you can stay out all day even when its raining. The jacket is named after the fifth highest mountain in the world that sits on the Nepal-Tibet border, this heritage is reflected in the Nepal inspired trims on the zips. As well as being waterproof, the Makalu is also breathable to help you cool down, there are pit zips for even faster ventilation. With a helmet compatible hood, YKK¨ Aquaguard zip, Napoleon chest zip and adjustable hem, the Makalu forms the perfect layer between you and the elements.
